Nicole Benjamin has a long history of service and advocacy through her extensive civic and professional work. Nicole serves as a District Leader of Yonkers Third Ward, Treasurer of Aquehung Yonkers Women's Democratic Club, Government and Public Policy Chair of Junior League of Bronxville, County-wide Corresponding Secretary of Westchester Black Women's Political Caucus, Civic Engagement Sub-Chair of Zeta Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, debate moderator for League of Women Voters, member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, member of Yonkers Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and member of Hudson River Community Association of Northwest Yonkers. 

Professionally, Nicole has worked as a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker for the New York City Department of Education, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, a paralegal in the Torts Department of New York City Department of Transit and an adjunct professor of Sociology.

Academically, Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Yale University, a Master of Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services, a Juris Doctor from City University of New York School of Law, a Master of Laws from Touro School of Law and is a Certified Article 81 Court Evaluator.

Nicole is the proud mother of a daughter.
